Thank you for wishing to support our work.
The money you donate will help thousands of people each year, across the UK and make our action against poverty possible.
Donations are fundamental to the set-up, development and on-going delivery of our projects.

Ways to donate
Online
You can make a one-off or monthly donation online via JustGiving. Please note that Just Giving asks you to ‘leave a tip’ for them. You don’t need to do this! If you look just below the light blue box that has details about the ‘tip’ you will see a link which says ‘Enter custom amount’. If you click on this and scroll to the bottom you will see that you can delete the suggested tip amount and input 0.00.
Bank transfer
If you would like to set up a standing order or payment from your bank you can arrange this through online banking or at your branch. Please email us so we can provide you with our bank account information.
CAF
We are able to receive donations via Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), including through CAF’s Give As You Earn scheme – please contact us for more information.
Post
Cheques can be made payable to Quaker Social Action and posted to: Quaker Social Action, 17 Old Ford Road, London, E2 9PJ
How we use donations
We prefer donated money to be ‘unrestricted’ which means supporting our work as a whole.
Unrestricted funding works magic at our charity because it is hard to fundraise for elsewhere and it gives us the time and freedom to ask ‘where is this most needed today?’
It also allows us to research new work as we ask ‘what is no one else doing that we can do to help?’ For example, funds like this allowed us to launch Down to Earth as the UK’s first (and only UK-wide) practical support service for people struggling with funeral costs.
