Affordable, meaningful funerals for everyone
As the only UK-wide service focused on reducing funeral poverty, we are widely considered the leading authority on the issue in the UK. Our frontline work means we hear daily about the challenges people face when planning a funeral on a low income. This then informs our policy, campaigns and research work.
We conduct research to build an evidence base around systemic issues, and we share that research to influence decision-makers in local and central government.
We run campaigns to push for change, working with other organisations in the sector wherever possible to maximise our reach.
At every opportunity, we speak truth to power about what needs to change, in both government and the funeral industry. And we will continue to do so until everyone has access to an affordable, meaningful funeral.
