We are based in central London.
- The American Church, near Goodge Street, on Tuesdays 8.30am to 12.30pm
- Lincoln’s Inn Fields, near Holborn, on Wednesdays on 5.00pm to 8.00pm
- St Giles in the Fields, near Tottenham Court Road, on Saturdays at 9.00am to 12.30pm
Locations are subject to change as we adjust to the needs of the project.
You get to know the staff. They're very nice, very nice people - they're like friends. It's the closest thing to friends that you make when you’re homeless, because you see them every week.
Turn a Corner beneficiary
Who is Turn a Corner for?
We welcome anyone who would like to join us for a chat, borrow a book or get support.
This includes but is not limited to:
- People who are sofa surfing
- People who are homeless or street homeless
- People who are living in a hostel, night shelter or B&B
- People living in conditions that affect their health or leave them at risk of violence or abuse at home.
- Refugees and asylum seekers.
Turn a Corner is a library and support hub for people affected by homelessness.
You do not need an appointment, fixed address or membership to visit us or borrow a book.
We provide books, daily items (like sleeping bags, clothes and toiletries), practical information and friendly support.
